These are some photos of my darling baby Raffin that I took on the beach when I was home during a crazy March heatwave. I seem to take my best pictures of her at the moment, mostly I think because I feel most comfortable taking pictures of people when they don't know they're being photographed, but quite often they'll move and mess up the composition.
I was in Edinburgh visiting my best friends at the weekend, though, and I think I got a few nice photos of them. I'll have to wait and see till I can get them developed.

I was doing research for uni when I came across these amazing 'Litter Bugs' by illustrator Mark Oliver. I'm having difficulty deciding whether to specialise in Visual Communication or 3D Design next year.

I'd like to live here please. It's a beautiful renovated garage in Camden and you can read more about it here.

I want to be these girls. Failing that, can I at least have their hair/clothes? Please?
I've been busy tonight packing up all my uni work to take down to Aberdeen on Friday as it has to be handed in for assessment. When we start back in a few weeks for the beginning of our second semester we'll all be split up into our different subject choices to start specialising, which I'm really excited about. The pictures are of development work for the most recent project I did, which was based on the body. I chose the heart as the centre of my investigation and had lots of fun splashing ink around!
Isn't my doggy the cutest?

An article in January's Nylon (which my wonderful mother was kind enough to include in my Christmas stocking yesterday, seeing as my measly student budget can't afford the import price) about Dianna Agron led me to a website she collaborates on, You, Me & Charlie. It's really rather nice, and in turn led me to the rather lovely work of two French interior/graphic designers who founded the Paris design studio ( Ma + Chr )
The discovery of their website has also encouraged me to get to work on a few silly collage ideas which, thanks to the shiny new Lumix DMC-GF3 I got for Christmas, I'll actually be able to post here in the near future. I'm excited to actually start posting properly again - hopefully with more of my own work which I can finally photograph without having to work out some way of developing film (which I still haven't managed to do in Aberdeen - I wonder if I could persuade my flatmates to let me turn our kitchen into a darkroom...)
In the meantime, enjoy a little tune courtesy of The Rapture, whose album my beautiful best friend gave me for Christmas.
